We are very proud to announce that in June 2008 a total room renovation of the Mercure Hevelius hotel will be completed. These newly created rooms were conceived to meet all guests expectations of comfort, style and well being. The “At Hevelius” restaurant serves a wide selection of of regional cuisine and Chef’s seasonal specials. For those, who would like to warm up a bit, awaits The Vega bar – a perfect place for refreshments, relaxation and coffee break at any time of the day.

Our hotel is also a well-known business centre with 9 professionally equipped conference rooms including the biggest one for up to 250 persons. Our experienced staff is ready to provide across-the-board assistance in organizing private gatherings, training sessions, MICE events as well as large conferences and banquets.

We first had a room on the 14th floor which was extremely hot and had to change room to the third floor.

The Mercure Hevelius Gdansk is a fairly good hotel in a good location to Old Town, comfortable beds and tasty food. However, their service is not as good as the Hotel Krolewski. I had called 2 weeks prior to arrange for a taxi to pick me up at the airport and none showed up. At check-in, I was informed of the breakfast hours, but was not informed of the price--8 Euros, which I found out about at check-out. Thankfully, the food was pretty good. The only good service I received, was when I called for a fan for the stuffy, non air conditioned room--it came in a matter of minutes. If I was to stay in Gdansk again, I would definitely beg to stay at the Hotel Krolewski--they were booked for the dates I needed, unfortunately.
